Colombian Guacamole

In Colombia, I remember so much that avocados was included in almost all the meals, our avocados are big with buttery yellow green flesh. We used to eat them in the breakfast with arepas, (corn meal cakes), soups and salads. There are many kind of avocados, the shape from pear to round, green to black, small and big. Here in California I found Hass avocado which is smaller, more green than yellow and great rich texture. I enjoy so much this delicious fruit.

Avocado is high in healthy fat and considered as a super food. These days avocado has become a popular and important food because is very nutritious and has a wide variety of vitamins and minerals.

AvocadoIngredients
  • 2 Medium pear avocados
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • 2 limes juice
  • 1 tbsp mayonaise
  • 1 tsp hot tabasco sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

Scrape out the middle of the avocados and put them into the food processor add the rest of the ingredients, sal and pepper. Mix well 10 seconds or until you get a creamy texture.
