Traditional Italian tomato sauce

Ingredients
  • 8 medium red and organic tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion and finely chopped
  • 1 garlic (optional)
  • 2 tbsp grape seed oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp of oregano
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Wash all tomatoes, put water in a pot, when is boiling put the tomatoes for 5 to 8 minutes until you see how easy it is to peel off the skin. Remove from heat and let stand, After a few minutes remove the skin from the tomatoes and chop finely or take them to a food processor and crush them. Finely chop the onion into cubes, and put it in a hot pan with the oil, add the garlic, the tomatoes, the aromatic herbs, season to your taste.

Let it boil for 20 mins on medium low heat. Remove from heat and let stand until cool. You can blend it if you want it! This is ready!
