Macadamias are delicious and flavorful nut, it’s one of the popular edible nuts packed with notable health and benefiting nutrients. They are an excellent source of energy and minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese and zinc. 100 g nuts provide 3.6 mcg of selenium. Selenium is a cardio-protective micro-mineral and an important anti-oxidant.
I enjoy so much all kind of nuts but macadamias is one of my favorites to prepare delicious recipes or just like a snack.
This is a simple salad full of flavor, healthy and so yummy. The combination of macadamias, avocado and persimmons is so delightful.
Ingredients
Main
- ¼ cup macadamia nuts
- 1 chopped avocado
- 2 chopped persimmons
- ¼ chopped green onions
Dressing
- 1 lime juice
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp chopped dill
- Salt and pepper
- ¼ cup olive oil
Instructions
Combine macadamias with the rest of the ingredients and set aside. Whisk well all the ingredients of the dressing. Pour the dressing on the salad and mix well.
I like to make lettuce wraps with this salad, it’s just so delicious, enjoy.
