Ceviche is the perfect dish for a hot summer because it’s tart, bright and refreshing with a citrus flavor.
Ingredients

- 2 cups diced mango (avoid a ripe mango)
- ½ cup diced tomato
- ½ cup diced red onion
- ½ cup peeled and diced cucumber
- 1 cup diced avocado
- 2 small diced jalapeños peppers
- Red hot taquera sauce o tabasco sauce (to your taste and optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
Citrus Marinate
- Juice of 4 limes
- ½ tablespoon apple vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive olive
- Salt and pepper to your taste
Instructions
Mix well all the ingredients except all of the marinate. Then combine all the citrus marinate ingredients and stir to ceviche de mango, mix well. Bring to the refrigerator at least for 2 hours to incorporate all the flavors. Add tabasco sauce on the top of the ceviche in the moment to serve if you like it.
Personally I love to cut slices of jicama, corn tostadas or green plantain chips.
