The Detox Program is based on “The Elimination Diet” which is a short-term eating plan that eliminates certain foods that may be causing allergies and other digestive reactions. Then the program reintroduces foods one at a time in order to determine which foods are, and are not well-assimilated.
Eating clean revolves around maintaining a balanced and personalized diet of fresh, unprocessed food including fruits, vegetables, grains, healthy fats, and some meats and fish.
The eliminated foods are those that are the most common triggers against our health such as: dairy, gluten, sugar, caffeine and alcohol. Others included are soy, corn, eggs, seafood, processed meats such as sausages and cold meats, meats of animals altered in their natural growth, and trans fats, among others. These processed foods contain different chemicals and additives that affect our body in different ways.
You will follow two important steps to make your experience as comfortable as possible. First, your 21-day detox program will make sure you include the supplements your body needs, a delicious shake for breakfast, a good lunch, and a light dinner. (detox includes some snacks in between meals)
